An FMCG automation business with full order book and ambitious growth plans needs an experienced Electrical Designer Engineer who can work well autonomously and support a small electrical team as they look to develop.

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Control panel design and development for automated equipment & machinery
• Current focus for the FMCG sector with plans for development elsewhere
• Carrying out site visits as required
• Completing all required documentation to ISO9001 quality standards including functional design specifications, test specifications, FAT & SAT

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• c4 years+ experience of control panel electrical design
• Confident to handle a mainstream electrical CAD package such as AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks Electrical - this client currently uses SEE Electrical
• Ability to understand and create control panel schematics, architecture and panel layouts

The key focus is to bring in a skilled Designer who can jump straight into immediate projects, working in an established team who need support. Should you have an interest later on, there are opportunities to develop PLC & SCADA software abilities.

The role is based in Lancashire and commutable from within and around the following areas: Preston, Bury, Halifax and Keighley. An office based position with an early Friday finish.
