Commissioning Engineer

 

£40-44k Basic

Earn £55,000 + Company van, overseas allowances, expenses, pension & paid overtime.

Home Based – Must be within 1 hour of East Midlands region.

50% international travel, 25% UK travel, 25% East Midlands office.

PLC controlled special purpose machinery.

Commissioning Engineer – The Person:

  • Commissioning & service of PLC controlled automated machinery worldwide
  • Completion of both factory & site acceptance testing
  • Assisting with development of the product line, with continuous improvement & innovation
  • Providing remote technical support

 

Commissioning Engineer – The Role:

  • Ideally qualified to HNC/HND level
  • Solid fault finding ability with understand of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment & systems
  • Ability to fault find PLC – able to create modifications to PLC software would be highly  advantageous
  • Must hold a valid Passport & Driving License

 

Role would suit an experienced Service & Commissioning Engineers, or apprentice trained Engineers with some maintenance background seeking their first travelling position.

 

To be in good proximity to the office, ideal locations would include: Leicester, Grantham, Peterborough, Cambridge, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Banbury, Luton, South Birmingham and Coventry. However, we are open to applications from Service & Commissioning Engineers all over the UK providing you are happy to stay away from home during the week when required in the office.
