Electrical Design Engineer
£30-42k + £6k Car Allowance, OT, 25 Days+ Stats, Enhanced Pension, Hybrid Working

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
- Carry out detailed electrical hardware design specifically incorporating complex drives & motors
- Prepare on-site activities for all hardware equipment and be prepared to assist in site commissioning where required
- Support sales teams customer visits gathering technical information on current & potential applications
- Perform FAT & SAT along with validation of projects
- Analyse requests of technical support from customer and prevent possible problems or faults
- Support new and existing customers & key accounts technically with enquiries and orders
- Work with existing customer applications in hardware to perform debugging, testing, improvement and re-designing tasks in order to optimise products so they remain fit for purpose
- Estimated 80/20 project to site work. Required to travel to the office for testing/ other projects, however the rest can be based from home
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
- Ability to produce accurate electrical drawings, panel layout drawings, system architecture drawings and cable schedules
- Liaise with the software engineering team on improvements and assist with implementation
- Specify & analyse all hardware specifications
- Prepare test plans along with specify test equipment
- Eplan knowledge would be beneficial – however training will be provided
Located in Shropshire, this role would be commutable from Shifnal, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster or Ludlow. The position will be office based for initial weeks, then hybrid role or work from home, only going on site for meetings or testing.
