Electrical Design Projects Engineer - The Role:

  • Managing projects
  • Production of detailed functional design specifications for power generation projects
  • Development of control system hardware for control applications
  • Specifying electrical hardware components for control systems
  • Production of wiring diagrams and general arrangement drawings
  • Liaising with customers and sub-contractors
  • Production of test specifications
  • Production procurement specifications.
  • Production of Test procedures and specifications.
  • Factory and works test documents

 

Electrical Design Projects Engineer - The Person:

  • Prior experience of Electrical Design for automated systems
  • TUV / SUD Functional Safety qualification or equivalent advantageous
  • Very good customer relation skills required
  • Prioritising workloads to deadline
  • Be able to work under own initiative, and as part of, or leading a team on site

 

Advantageous Requirements

  • Experience of HV or Generator protection systems
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD electrical
  • CCNSG Passport to Safety
  • Offshore Vantage Card

 

Located in Leicestershire, this role would be commutable from Nuneaton, Loughborough, Lutterworth & Leicester.
