Fantastic opportunity awaits for two Electrical Design Engineers to work with a leading manufacturing company specialising in bespoke automated machinery.

Working within their state-of-the-art headquarters in Essex, you'll become part of a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to excellence.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in the company's development, transitioning drawings from AutoCAD to EPLAN, whilst collaborating closely with the Automation Department.

Electrical Design Engineer x2

£40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Enhanced Pension + Healthcare + Flexi-time

• Assisting with the transition of drawing from AutoCAD to EPLAN, collaborating with the Automation Department to establish drawing standards and working methods
• Generating electrical drawings and panel layouts, along with supporting electrical documentation such as Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, and Terminal Rail Layouts
• Ensuring prompt updates of all electrical drawings throughout the project lifecycle and sharing with all relevant departments
• Maintaining a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• In-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and ideally Pro Panel 3D is highly advantageous, however, we are open to other electrical CAD experience and will train on Eplan – packages might include AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical or SolidWorks
• A formal Electrical Engineering Qualification – Apprenticeship/HNC/HND/Degree
• A systematic approach to work with high attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively with people across departments and shop floor
• Experience in a project environment in cross-functional project teams would be beneficial.
