We are working with an established systems integrator who supply the Food/Beverage markets. Based in the North West, they are currently on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced Workshop Manager to supervise their small control panel build team.

Workshop Manager  - The Role:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the control panel build team
  • Supervise and update electrical drawings and documentation
  • Maintain a safe workshop
  • Oversee the build-up and testing of all cabinets
  • Organise the transport of equipment and electrical panels to and from site
  • Responsible for monitoring and purchasing stock required for panel manufacturing
  • Take charge of Health & Safety in the workshop and on site
  • Handle project documentation, including RAMS and permits

 

Workshop Manager  - The Person:

  • Completed a 3-year apprenticeship (ONC, HNC is a plus)
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in managing a workshop
  • Previous experience of maintaining workshop inventory and purchasing required
  • The ability to read and understand Electrical & Mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge in conveyor and robot systems ideal
