Senior Electrical Fitter - The Role:

• Construction of electrical systems and equipment
• Installation of equipment at customer locations worldwide
• Reading engineering drawings
• Fault finding and rectification
• Leading small electrical teams
• Provide guidance and instruction within a team of electrical fitters
• Training and development of junior electrical fitters
• To be actively involved in task management
• Ownership of the designated build area
• Set standards and lead by example

Senior Electrical Fitter - The Person:

• Demonstrated experience of a senior role within electrical equipment assembly
• Have sound knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
• Experience of using hand and power tools
• MEWP & FLT qualification advantageous, training can be provided
• Proven ability to solve problems
• Competent in Microsoft office. Knowledge of SAP business software desirable
• Demonstrated team management experience
• City & Guilds, ONC or HNC qualification in electrical engineering discipline
• 18th Edition certification desirable

The successful candidate will be have team management/supervisory experience.

You MUST be flexible for international travel. All Engineers are expected to spend 3-4 periods per year on site, for 3-4 weeks at a time.

Each project is bespoke with it's own challenges. We are looking for innovative and dedicated Engineers who are keen to use their skills to their full potential. Engineers in this team have a direct route to develop into a Manufacturing Technician, Controls Technician, and further into Control Systems Engineer.

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
