Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing Technician - The Role:
- Test and validation of all automated systems and equipment at the Shropshire site and worldwide customer locations
Commissioning of all automated system and equipment
- System fault finding and diagnostics, Fault rectification
- Conducting system wide test and Inspection & system servicing
- Modification of engineering drawings to support system build
- Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules
- Construction of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment to engineering drawings
- Installation of systems and equipment at customer locations worldwide
Manufacturing Technician - The Person:
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings
- ‘Hands-on’ experience in building electrical and mechanical equipment
- City & Guilds Electrical qualification / 18th Edition Electrical qualification preferable
- City & Guilds qualification in Engineering discipline / apprentice trained
- Professional manner with good communication skills. Able to represent the company to a high standard
- Flexible manner to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues
- Self-driven for progressive and continued learning and development
- Keen to accept responsibility and accountability
- Full, UK valid driving license & Passport
You MUST be flexible for international travel. All Engineers are expected to spend 3-4 periods per year on site, for 3-4 weeks at a time.

Each project is bespoke with it's own challenges. We are looking for innovative and dedicated Engineers who are keen to use their skills to their full potential. Engineers in this team have a direct route to develop into a Controls Technician, and further into Control Systems Engineer.
Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
