Project Engineer / Manager (Mechanical)
£45,000 - £55,000 + Car/Allowance + Bonus + 33 Days Holidays

Project Engineer / Manager (Mechanical) - The Role:
- Lead and manage the full project life cycle from initial design through to final delivery, ensuring all phases are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee all relevant disciplines throughout the contract duration, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, budgetary constraints, and programme timelines.
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations for new projects based on detailed customer and user requirement specifications.
- Design and implement bespoke process and packaging equipment systems in compliance with applicable legal, safety, and customer standards.
- Plan, procure, and coordinate materials and labour resources to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
- Supervise and manage internal teams as well as external contractors and labour resources to ensure efficient execution of project tasks.
- Liaise with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain clear communication and smooth workflow across all parties.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, aiming to achieve or exceed target profitability levels.
Project Engineer / Manager (Mechanical) - The Person:
- Prior experience in Project Engineering for capital equipment projects
- Prior experience of Mechanical Design beneficial
- Familiar with capital plant and equipment in the food, dairy, and beverage industries is beneficial
- Knowledgeable in Health & Safety and CDM regulations, with practical compliance experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other industry-standard drawing/design software
- Holder of a full UK driving licence, with flexibility for travel
