Control Systems Engineer  

£48000 - £55000 + Private Healthcare + Site Overtime + Expenses

The ideal Controls Engineer will be skilled with Allen Bradley AND Siemens, however you must be competent with at least one of these platforms.

Controls Engineer  - The Role:

• PLC/SCADA Software design & development
• Complete industrial networking
• Taking full ownership of projects from concept through to commissioning
• Providing training/mentoring to junior members of the team
• On-site installation & commissioning

Controls Engineer  - The Person:

• To be considered for the role, you will be experienced in:
• Industrial Control Systems
• PLC programming (Allen Bradley / Siemens essential)
• Industrial networks (EtherNET, ProfiNET)
• Manufacturing industries / processes
• Liaising with customers/suppliers

Ideally, you will also have experience of the following

• Working overseas / away from home
• Experience of programming robotics
• EPLAN electrical design
• Plastics processing machinery
• Packaging systems
• Programming of PLC / Touch Screen / Network / SCADA
• Liaising with internal panel builders to ensure the systems are built to the design spec
• On site installation and commissioning
• Service and fault find on existing systems
• Project management
