Electrical Control Engineer

£50k - £60k + 5k Car Allowance + 9% Pension + Private Medical Care

Electrical Control Engineer - The Role:

  • Production of FDS/SDS
  • Design and programming of PLC/HMI/SCADA systems for various industries using Siemens TIA
  • AutoCAD design of electrical distribution/motor control centres and PLC control systems
  • Attending client and sub-contractor meetings to support the project by providing technical expertise
  • Production of test documents FAT/SAT, and visits to panel manufacturer premises for Factory Acceptance Testing
  • Preparation of estimates, tenders, design specifications, and tender specifications
  • Authoring O&M Manuals
  • Keeping abreast of the latest developments in electrical engineering

 

Electrical Control Engineer - The Person:

  • Engineering qualification to at least level 4 (HND/Degree or equivalent) 
  • Relevant design (AutoCAD) experience in a relevant electrical design/controls engineering role
  • Experience in control panel/MCC design, ideally with Siemens equipment. Project management experience will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems including electrical distribution equipment, MCCs, and PLC control panels
  • Ability to produce and manage RAMS
  • Experience in a turnkey project environment
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work proactively both individually and as part of a team

 

Located in the Yorkshire & Humberside area, this role would be commutable from in and around Scarborough, Bridlington, Driffield, Malton, York & Hull
