Working for this specialist supplier supporting many world leading manufacturers, here you will receive a structured training plan to develop your skills to design solutions for BMS - building management systems. You will work closely with other engineers to support the business whilst being mentored by a senior engineer.

 

Junior Controls Engineer

£25,000 - £37,000 + Car or Allowance + Overtime

Junior Controls Engineer - The Role:

  • Assist with the service, maintaining and commissioning of control systems
  • Complete test reports and schedules
  • Provide technical support
  • Hardware and software installation of control panels
  • Modify new and existing control panels and equipment
  • Provide technical support via phone or online during working hours
  • Assist and support other engineers, third-party technicians, and clients
  • Perform room performance testing according to provided schedules
  • Complete test reports and associated documentation
  • Conduct servicing and maintenance of control systems and panels

 

Junior Controls Engineer - The Person:

  • A background of electrical, electronics or control engineering required
  • Formal qualification - Degree, HNC, HND or NVQ
  • Must be free to travel Monday - Friday - 70% of your time will be on client sites throughout the UK
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to question and support others
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous but not essential
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both independently

 

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer or Graduate who is keen to develop into a Design and Commissioning role.  You must be flexible to stay away from home Monday to Friday and have a valid UK driving licence.
