Join a globally respected manufacturer of bespoke filling and packaging lines as a Mechanical Fitter, specialising in the assembly of precision enclosures for complex automation machinery.

This is a hands-on, factory-floor role where accuracy, problem-solving, and a strong mechanical background are essential. You’ll be part of a team producing high-quality equipment destined for major clients in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

Mechanical Fitter - The Role

• Preparing and machining base materials; assembling locks and fittings
• Building enclosure frameworks and integrating them with production lines
• Disassembling tested machinery for shipping and reassembly at customer sites
• Completing minor pneumatic assemblies where required
• Supporting equipment commissioning, installation, and servicing—on-site and occasionally abroad
• Ensuring all work meets stringent quality, safety, and technical standards

Mechanical Fitter - The Person

•  Strong mechanical assembly and machining experience
•  Recognised engineering apprenticeship or technical certification
•  Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
•  Excellent fitting skills and keen attention to detail
•  Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
•  Basic pneumatic knowledge is beneficial
•  Willingness to occasionally travel internationally for installations
