Sales Manager - Machine Vision

Sales Manager - The Role:
- Lead and manage the internal sales team and external sales representatives to achieve defined quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Oversee inbound and warm leads generated through marketing
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop detailed technical proposals and compelling sales presentations
- Drive proactive outreach to potential customers across multiple channels
- Build and maintain existing accounts of a global customer base
- Engage with prospects across different sectors and geographies, understanding their challenges and effectively communicating the value our products can provide
- Qualify leads and assess their suitability for products or services
- Carry out meetings or demos with qualified prospects
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead-generation efforts
- Assist in the development of sales scripts and outreach strategies
- Contribute to the development of sales collateral and materials
- Attend industry events or trade shows to network and identify potential leads
- Support the sales team in achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets
Sales Manager - The Person:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, customer management, or lead generation in a highly technical discipline
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Educated to degree level preferably in an Engineering, Business or Marketing discipline
- Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) software (preferably Salesforce)
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships
- Goal-oriented mindset and a desire to meet and exceed targets
- A logical approach to problem-solving and strong negotiation abilities
- Well organised, ability to work to deadlines and high attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of machine vision. Any additional background of industrial manufacturing highly advantageous.
Located in Oxfordshire , this role would be commutable from within and around Reading, Didcot, Swindon and Oxford.
