Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives on challenge, variety, and innovation?
Our client is a rapidly growing engineering business delivering

They’re looking for a dynamic and driven Project Manager to join their expanding team — someone who can bring energy, structure, and leadership to a fast-paced environment.

Projects Manager - The Role:

Reporting directly to the board, you’ll take full ownership of multiple, large-scale automation projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, fabrication, and assembly to keep everything on track — from initial scheduling through to FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and manage daily/weekly milestones across multiple active projects.
  • Plan resources effectively and monitor workloads to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Control project budgets and proactively manage any overruns.
  • Track and report KPIs, progress, and performance to senior leadership.
  • Lead regular stand-up meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Oversee workshop organisation, quality control, and process improvements.
  • Support FAT preparation, ensuring readiness for client visits and sign-offs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage a motivated, efficient team.
  • Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and project reviews.

Projects Manager - The Person:

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management, ideally within engineering or manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex bespoke projects concurrently.
  • Strong competence with Microsoft Project and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Skilled in budget control, KPI management, and resource planning.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to change.
