Commissioning Engineer

£50,000 - £60,000  

Warrington, Cheshire. Ref: 24973

The Role:

• Hands-on testing and commissioning of LV switchgear, cabling, and systems up to 1000V
• Interpret technical drawings and configure protection devices for smooth system integration
• Issue safety documents (training provided), write progress reports, and troubleshoot on-site
• Ensure installations meet specs and safety standards through inspections and equipment training
• Collaborate with other trades for efficient commissioning and deliver FAT & SAT

The Person:

• Solid E&I commissioning experience
• Background in Power, Energy, and Gas Transmission
• Hands-on with LV Switchgear and MCCs
• Engineering apprenticeship or technical training
• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering
• Qualified in Inspection & Testing (2391-52)
• Up to date with 18th Edition (2382-22)
• Holds CSCS/ECS card
• LV authorised and experienced
