As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering technically advanced solutions, shaping project strategy, and mentoring junior engineers. This is a senior-level opportunity where you’ll have real autonomy and long-term career visibility.

 

Senior Controls Engineer  - The Person:

  • Design, configure and develop PLC & SCADA systems for a range of industrial automation projects.
  • Lead full project life cycles — from initial concept and FDS through to FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure technical excellence and on-time delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership to controls teams and assist in developing the next generation of engineers.

 

Senior Controls Engineer  - The Person:

  • Proven experience of real-time control systems design, development and commissioning.
  • Expertise in PLC programming (Rockwell / Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider).
  • Solid experience with SCADA/HMI systems (e.g., AVEVA, FTView, WinCC, iFIX).
  • Strong background in systems integration and project delivery
  • Skilled in documentation (FDS, FAT, SAT) and process management
  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) and a full UK driving licence.

   

We are keen to see Control Systems Engineers with experience of the following packages:

  • PLC Software – Rockwell / Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider
  • HMI/SCADA Software – Rockwell FTView ME & SE, AVEVA InTouch & System Platform, Schneider ClearSCADA GEiFIX, Siemens WinCC
