The company designs, manufactures, and supplies control panel solutions for a diverse range of sectors. The Technical Sales Engineer will balance key account management (50%) with new business development (50%). The successful candidate will manage existing client relationships while identifying and securing opportunities for growth. The role offers hybrid working and is open to full-time or part-time arrangements, providing flexibility for the right candidate.

 

Technical Sales Engineer - The Role:

  • Manage and develop relationships with key accounts (approx. 50% of the role).
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities (approx. 50% of the role).
  • Promote and sell control panels and related solutions across a range of sectors.
  • Provide technical expertise to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Attend client meetings, trade shows, and site visits as required.

 

Technical Sales Engineer - The Person:

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Technical background, in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with control panels or industrial electrical systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including part-time arrangements.

 

Located in Lincolnshire, this role would be commutable from Sleaford, Lincoln, Grantham, Scunthorpe and Market Rasen.
