One of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with a century's worth of industry experience are currently on the lookout for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join their team.

You will work on a variety of automation projects for blue chip clients in industries such as Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage.

Controls Engineer

£40,000 - £55,000 DOE + Pension + Healthcare + CENG Support

Controls Engineer - The Role:

• Work on control system projects either independently or as part of a team
• Handle the entire life cycle of the project, from design documentation to commissioning and handover
• Develop Functional Design Specification and PLC, HMI, SCADA software
• Coordinate with SI and LV engineering delivery teams and client stakeholders
• Act as a lead on small projects, working closely with the Project Manager to meet project milestones

Controls Engineer - The Person:

• Have a minimum of 3 years systems engineering experience
• Have strong knowledge of safe working practices with regards to work on or near electrical equipment
• Have good organisational and communication skills
• Be positive, approachable, willing, helpful and a good team player
• Have experience in PLC and HMI software development using devices from Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi or Schneider

Located in Glasgow, this role would be commutable from Stirling, Falkirk, Wishaw, East Kilbride, Dumbarton or surrounding areas.
