Engineering Sales Manager - The Role:

As Engineering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a defined territory across the UK and Europe. You will work closely with a range of clients and internal engineering teams, identifying opportunities, understanding technical requirements, and delivering tailored equipment solutions.

• Generating new business and developing existing accounts
• Visiting customers to understand technical requirements
• Preparing detailed quotations and proposals
• Managing negotiations and closing capital equipment sales
• Acting as the main technical and commercial contact for customers
• Working collaboratively with internal engineering teams
• Monitoring orders through to delivery
• Maintaining strong after-sales relationships

Engineering Sales Manager - The Person:

• Formal Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
• Proven experience in capital equipment sales
• Strong project management capability
• Experience managing a territory
• Consultative selling approach
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Comfortable managing long sales cycles
