An excellent opportunity for two Service Engineers to join a growing field-based team supporting material handling and automation equipment.

 

Field Service Engineer - The Role:

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Breakdown diagnosis and repair
  • Service and remedial work across customer sites

 

Working across equipment such as:

  •  Goods lifts
  •  Conveyors
  •  Automated systems (ASRS, sortation, cranes)

 

The roles are primarily Midlands focused, with wider UK travel required c20% of the time. Engineers typically return home daily.

 

Field Service Engineer - The Person:

  • Multi-Skilled Engineer - majority of the work is mechanical but must have good electrical skills i.e. 70/30
  • Able to carry out basic electrical fault finding (e.g. using a multimeter)
  • Experience within material handling, automation, lifting equipment or similar environments
  • Electrical qualifications (e.g. 18th Edition) advantageous

  •  £36,000 basic salary
  •  Paid travel time (door-to-door)
  •  Regular overtime available
  •  Overtime rates:
    •  1.5x weekdays & Saturdays
    •  2x Sundays

Working Pattern

  •  Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
  •  Friday: Early finish

  •  1 in 6 rota
  •  Standby allowance paid
  •  Additional overtime paid if called out
  •  Flexible response window
