This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer with AutoCAD Electrical experience to join a growing automation and controls environment, working on detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts and control system designs for industrial applications.

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
- Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams and 2D/3D models using AutoCAD Electrical
- Produce control panel designs, PLC I/O drawings, cable schedules and terminal plans
- Support panel build and wiring activities, ensuring designs are practical and buildable
- Maintain accurate project documentation, drawing revisions and as-built records
- Work closely with electrical, software and project engineering teams
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Support the development of standard templates, libraries and design processes
Electrical Design Engineer - What We’re Looking For:
- Experience using AutoCAD Electrical for schematic and panel design
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels and automation design
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC and BS EN
- Ability to produce clear and accurate technical documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Organised approach with good attention to detail
- Practical understanding of panel build and electrical installation activities advantageous
