Mechanical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Design components and products, supporting ongoing product development and innovation
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and bills of materials for production
• Implement engineering design changes and product modifications as required
• Generate, maintain and validate technical documentation and product data
• Manage and update product parameters within the ERP system
• Conduct testing and validation
• Support the creation of sales and promotional technical materials
• Produce and maintain production-related documentation
• Respond to and resolve customer technical enquiries
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design and engineering processes
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards
• Work in line with company quality policy, KPIs and regulatory/statutory requirements
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment

Mechanical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Proficient in 3D CAD modelling for components and assemblies (ideally SolidWorks)
• Strong ability to produce accurate and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Good understanding of machining and fabrication processes
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal, able to engage with internal teams and customers
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices

Located in Lincolnshire, this role would be commutable from Lincoln, Gratham, Newark-on-Trent, Nottingham and other surrounding areas.
