Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Create design concepts, technical drawings, and specifications using AutoCad Electrical design software.
• Support the full project lifecycle, including research, equipment development, build support, commissioning, testing, and client training.
• Work closely with clients and the internal business development team to provide technical support, feasibility studies, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Produce BOMs, project documentation, and maintain accurate records within the MRP system.
• Provide both remote and on-site technical support for customers in the UK and internationally.
• Contribute hands-on during equipment build, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and engineering trends to support continuous innovation and product development.

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Experience using engineering design/CAD software to produce technical drawings and specifications Ideally with prior experience of AutoCad Electrical though training can be given
• Strong technical problem-solving ability with a practical, hands-on engineering mindset.
• Comfortable supporting projects from concept through to build, testing, and customer delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of tasks, while also contributing collaboratively within a team.
• Adaptable, proactive, and keen to continuously learn and develop technical expertise.
