Excellent opportunities for Control Engineers to join a skilled team providing technical development of warehouse automation solutions. We are looking for candidates who are keen to work as part of a team with genuine opportunities for progression.

Control Systems Engineer – The Role:

• Lead development of automation projects from concept through functional design and software development using Siemens equipment (PLC, HMI, SCADA)
• Perform installation and commissioning activities on-site
• Balanced work schedule with approximately 50% office-based and 50% site-based activity, primarily within the UK and Ireland, with occasional travel to EU locations
• Hybrid working options available

Control Systems Engineer – The Person:

• Experience commissioning automation systems and flexibility to support site activities
• Proven track record developing PLC software from the ground up with comprehensive documentation
• Must have experience with Siemens TIA Portal v18 or later
• Strong understanding of electrical schematic diagrams and safety circuits
• Experience within intra-logistics, baggage handling, or FMCG automation is highly desirable

These roles are based in the East Midlands, commutable from within and around Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Grantham.  Hybrid working IS available for these roles. Site work can be in the UK and the EU and currently sits about 50/50. As the team expands, this should reduce to 60% office, 40% site. This is an established business with a new head of Engineering who is keen to create a positive environment alongside a good work/life balance.
