Mechanical Design / Project Engineer - The Role:

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Organise regular project reviews
• Manage budgets and control project expenditure
• Generate quotations, specifications and manage customer change order requests
• Negotiate additional costs with customers
• Ensure delivery and timing milestones are met
• Raise purchase requests

Mechanical Design / Project Engineer - The Person:

• Possess great communication skills, to be able to liaise with both internal and external contacts, throughout all stages of the projects.
• Customer relationship management
• Looking for mechanical design and robot automation skills or automated machinery exposure essential.
• Robot experience is highly advantageous.

Located in Bedford, this role would be commutable from Milton Keynes, St Neots & Biggleswade.

Role would be suitable for Engineers with experience of either Project Management, Project Engineering, Mechanical Design or Control Systems.
